Earlier this summer we talked about Doctor Who at the Proms, but there was only still photos then. Now, there’s video, from the recent BBC broadcast of the Proms concert… and it features that kid who looked so stunned from the pictures back in July:
Wibbly wobbly, explodey wodey. Psychic wire. Tee-hee!
Matt Smith is a little bit mean to that kid, isn’t he? Fun mean, but still…
(Thanks to reader Elisabeth for the link. If you stumble across a cool Doctor Who thing, feel free to email me with a link.)
my fave Who Proms scene is still the “Music of the Spheres” short vid filmed with Tennant’s Doctor, but as with this, you have to watch it with audience reaction. the kids faces are priceless and Tennant just captures the magic.
Woo-hoo! Doctor Who Live!
See you at Wembley Arena, folks. If you’re there on 10 October.
Steven Moffat was like you plan ahead, you think of everything and yet the 2 boys you pick to do the bit with Matt both say they can see invisible wires – oh well!
Preferred Music of the Spheres – completely corny but Tennant sold it beautifully.
Anyone else notice the boy with the Fez in the audience? Just like MAJ predicted :)
