I’ve heard more than a couple of people say that Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is the worst Best Picture Oscar nominee since The Greatest Show on Earth won that award sixty years ago, for the film year 1952. So here’s a look back at that one, one of Cecil B. DeMille’s final films.
