female gazing at: Guy Pearce

Guy Pearce

Guy Pearce is so oily and so disgusting in Lawless that gazing at him was not a possibility, but when browsing through the film’s IMDB page I came across some recent pix of Pearce that made my jaw drop. He was always a nice-looking guy, but suddenly he’s superhot:

He’s got a real Clark Kent thing going on with those specs:

Can’t believe we haven’t gazed at this man before:

So very nice:

(If you have a suggestion for someone we should female-gaze at, feel free to email me with a name or a link to a particular photo. But check to see whom we’ve already gazed at.)

Guy Pearce is lovely and a damn fine actor.  However for a certain generation, he will always be ‘Mike from Neighbours’.  (Kylie and Jason era…)

In the same way an appearance from Alan Dale gets the ‘Jim from Neighbours’  treatment.  Made early NCIS very weird…

    Gosh doggies. Nice catch, MA!

  • Karl Morton IV

He was VERY fit and action hero-y indeed in the Luc Besson satellite prison move, the name of which escapes me. Well worth a gaze with the sound turned down.

By contrast, he looked positively cadaverous in “Rules of Engagement” – I think he lost the weight for “Ravenous”? Worked great for the parts he was playing, but I feared for his health in those days.

  • No, that space prison movie — Lockout — was crap. Not even worth it for the gazing.

Love Guy since Priscilla. Glad to see him in the leading role of Lockout. I enjoyed every minute of him in the film. Looking forward to more of his up-coming projects.

What!?!?!  I had no idea he was the third from Priscilla.

He didn’t come back on my radar until Memento and he is in one of my favorite got-it-all pulp movies: The Count of Monte Cristo (which is also one of the few movies better than the also-pulpy book).

And then he slipped back off my radar until now.  Thanks, MAJ!

Just look at that jawline! Who wouldn’t go crazy over that? LOL Guy Pearce, in my opinion, has the sexiest jaw.

I always liked him in Neighbours   it’s so weird about Alan Dale too I first noticed him in 24!

Awesome! Memento is still one of my personal favorite movies. Really, if someone says they did not get it….it is a deal breaker for friendship.

Bizarro coincidence: I just took a notion to see the Kate Winslet Mildred Pierce mini-series, what made me think of it I don’t know. Through the first half I’m looking at this guy who resembles Brad Pitt (even sounds like him) and see his name is Guy Pearce, okay, where have I seen him before? IMDB, huh, no, well, okay, still he looks familiar. Checking flickfilosopher just now, there’s the Female Gazing picture, saw it before, noticed how he resembles Brad Pitt. Click on pic. Guy Pearce. By George.

And it wasn’t this posting that made me think of Mildred Pierce, either – notice none of the comments mention it.

(I’ve seen Memento and loved it but the brain didn’t connect that up.)

I’ve thought Guy Pierce was hot since I first saw him in Priscilla, but than again, there was also Hugo Weaving too. Pierce looks different in so many films, and that only increases the hotness level.

  • Laughing Bunny

I can’t believe no one has mentioned him in “L.A. Confidential”!  When he and Russell Crowe team up to take down the bad guy is when the movie really picks up steam… and steamyness.  (P.S. I loved the suits and style of the 1950’s, so also a big factor in the hotness.)

  •  Stars always change their look according to their role, no one was giving attention to Johny Depth until the Pirates of The Caribbean released.
