question of the day: Imagine the last film you watched is going to happen to you in real life: how screwed are you?
Here’s a meme that’s apparently been circling the Web for a while now that I only just came across the other day:
Imagine the last film you watched was going to happen to you in real life: how screwed are you?
The last film I saw, on Friday night, is The Campaign, the Will Ferrell/Zach Galifianakis flick. It’s a comedy about the insanity of American politics that is so little exaggerated that it could almost be a documentary. Which means that the film is already happening to me — and to all my fellow Americans, and indeed to everyone around the planet that is impacted by the actions of the United States. And we’ll all pretty damned well screwed because of it.
