question of the weekend: What unusual animals have you eaten?
Today’s question comes from RogerBW, who wants to know:
What unusual animals have you eaten? Which ones would you like to try?
I’ve had kangaroo (very greasy and rather unpleasant), goose (very greasy and nice, like duck), pheasant (tastes like chicken), ostrich (tastes like a nice cut of beef), and wildebeest (also beefish). I’ve also had some very delicious vension and some tough and tasteless venison, rabbit (yummy — sorry, Bugs), but I’m not sure how much they qualify as unusual.
