question of the day: Who is the entertainment person of the year for 2012?
Time magazine has named their person of the year for 2012. It seems like their pick is kind of racist, because they based it on the color of the house the guy lives in — even houses get treated better of they’re white. Anyway, the most important thing about this Barack Obama guy is that while he apparently sometimes performs in public, he’s not an entertainment figure. So we need to remedy this oversight on Time’s part.
Who is the entertainment person of the year for 2012?
Who had the biggest impact this year on how we entertain ourselves? (Please don’t say Honey Boo Boo or I will have to kill myself.) Or maybe its someone whose impact hasn’t quite hit yet but that we can foresee. (Will Nate Silver eliminate media punditry by taking the guesswork not only out of elections but out of box office races, Super Bowls, and everything else humans talk out their asses about when they need to fill air time or boost page views?) Who changed or will change, for better or for worse, film, TV, games, books, the Net… or all of it at once?
