What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today:
• Wasn’t this in a #ThursdayNext book? MT @AP: Sweden issues int’l arrest warrants for British garlic smuggling ring: apne.ws/13hyGPh
• I’m shocked. Shocked! After Hottest Year On Record, Fox News Buries Its Head In The Sand
• Hey, apparently I’m quoted in the UK trailer for Robot & Frank. Nice to see @maryannjohanson quoted for the Robot & Frank UK trailer.
(hat-tip for today’s links: @drgrist)
And thus began the rise of Flick Filosopher, little did we know where it would lead …
I don’t think it’s anything to get excited about. I’ve been quoted before, and nothing amazing happened afterward.
I think Fox News is like the Daily Mail: its job is to turn normal people into frothing loonies who think that everything bad in the world is the fault of Those People. It’s as much about news as it is about foxes.
Beats quote mining at any rate. :-P
