Free movies for the public, al fresco, at Sheffield Doc/Fest.
An excellent idea. Glad that the DRM you-must-pay-for-everything culture hasn’t yet extended to every film.
Every summer, Grant Park in Chicago has movies weekly throughout the summer, which are very well-attended (in good weather, of course!). Also, they have the last large-city free classical music performances in the US weekly at the Millenium Park bandshell.
