When Doctor Who fan site Kasterborous tweeted over the weekend about an “Awesome Steampunk TARDIS Interior!” I thought: Oh, like the one Tom Baker used for a bit during his era’s Gothic phase? Or the one Paul McGann had during his single filmed outing as the Doctor?

wait! is that supposed to be “the Doctor’s Wife” in the middle of the moving column? uh… ick?!
C’est magnifique, mais ce n’est pas la TARDIS.
Wow I missed that. That’s … really unfortunate.
Why? She IS the TARDIS.
What’s icky about it?
i know… but the image just smacks of some sort of “captured” or trapped entity…
Naaaaaah. Looks expensive-suburban. Like, where’s the remote?
