while I binge-watch Game of Thrones S3 today, please enjoy this GoT opening credits sequence as if it were a 1970s sitcom

These are the wages of procrastination: Season 4 of Game of Thrones starts tomorrow, and I haven’t seen Season 3 yet. So there’s my Saturday sorted: I’m gonna sit through 10 hours of the Lannisters’ scheming and Daenerys training her dragons and some unexpected deaths and tons of sexposition all in one day. I might post some snarky comments to Facebook and Twitter as I watch; I probably won’t write about individual episodes — it seems redundant at this point — but maybe I’ll have something to say at the end, to wrap up the season, before the new episodes start tomorrow night.

Should I blog about the new episodes as they air? Let me know in comments.

Meanwhile, enjoy Garrison Dean’s reimagining of the opening credits of the show as if it were a classic sitcom (via io9):

“Nick Waldo” is where I totally lost it.

share and enjoy

I will. But I can’t watch them live, so it’ll likely be a day or two after they air that I’ll be able to see them.
