At a Wells Fargo branch in Manhattan. I hope the bank’s security goes beyond a guy with a hat and a six-shooter.
Naaah. That’s there to make their customers and potential customers channel the myth that they’re just that same Olde Tyme Gold Rush bank…the one that helped you assay what you got on your claim while striking it rich rather then the thieving behemoth that plays around with mortgages.

Visiting SF 45 years ago, I saw one of these stagecoaches in a WF bank there and gormlessly thought it was one of the only ones left. It looked real, yours might be a reconstruction.
Wow! Thieves broke into the Wells Fargo museum in San Francisco and stole their “original” gold nuggets. Didn’t harm anything else.
