anyone want a weekly email digest of FlickFilosopher posts?

I already have a once-a-day email digest — which you can sign up for here — which sends you a simple email with links to the day’s new posts. (If there are any, of course. If there are no posts, there’s no email.)

But it occurs to me suddenly that perhaps there are those who might prefer to receive a once-per-week email of all the new posts from the entire past week. You know, to cut down on email.

Let me know in comments…

Not really. RSS has it covered for me.

I’d probably use the weekly update if you offered it.

I check the site daily, so a weekly digest would be redundant for me.

Considering the frequency I check this site, I should probably unsubscribe from the digest email completely.

Is there any financial aspect to the digest for you?

Total useless trivia: Today’s soundtrack on a throwback Monday in my brain is “Summertime” by Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Now you have music-osis, too!

I somehow missed that song back when it charted, so I have the Janis Joplin version of “Summertime” stuck in my brain instead.

Actually, that’s not true. My library just got a copy of this movie:

So I have this song stuck in my head:

  • I do pay to run the digest, but it’s minimal, and one or two dropouts or new subscribers don’t make a difference. If a thousand people decided to sign up, that would cost me a little more, but not much.
