I was going to say, “I hope Banksy is reading this and getting some ideas.” But, actually, I hope every female set designer in Hollywood is reading it.

Like the possibly apocryphal story of wannabe dude getting cool Japanese tattoo that really says “Dumb White Boy”.
I’m surprised a show with that subject matter wouldn’t have an Arabic expert on-set just as a matter of routine. The street artists are right: “The content of what was written on the walls… was of no concern. In their eyes, Arabic script is merely a supplementary visual that completes the horror-fantasy of the Middle East.”
“Looks weird and curly, what more do you need?”
