The only point of logo changes is that people can be paid to come up with them.
Don’t be silly. The point of logo changes is to convince us that a product that’s been around for years is new and different.
Have you ever known anyone who fell for that? I haven’t.
Your friends and family have all known who you are for decades. But sometimes don’t you want to try on some nice, snazzy new clothes?
