*Bangs head on desk till it shatters into pieces*
Well, obviously. I mean, she’s all old. Who wants to watch that?
(Variant: I mean, she’s young and inexperienced. Who wants to watch that?)
Shameful. And she’s the one who’s had a far more successful and accomplished career since the original run. The Fall and Hannibal just two most recent examples.
Luckily, she held a grenade few other actresses have access to — the show isn’t the same without BOTH of them.
I dunno. His movie career hasn’t been anything to write home about, but Californication was a long running hit on Showtime, and NBC picked up his Aquarius for a second season. I think that gives him a slight edge over Gillian’s string of smaller successes, all else being equal. Of course, all else is not equal, and so we get this bullshit.
Your head or the desk?
It’s a moot point. Yesterday at my library, a customer asked for Harry Potter and the Blood Libel, and my head exploded.
