Ooh, what a picture! I’m kind of scared too. The X-Files was THE show for me in the 90s and I came of age watching it. What if the new stories are a disappointment? But at least it can’t be a case of poor new stories ruining my fond memories, as I’ve watched all through several times since the early noughties and it hasn’t lost anything for me.
Whatever happens with the new episodes, no matter how bad they are, we’ll always have “Duane Barry” and “Musings Of A Cigerette Smoking Man” and “Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose” and “Bad Blood” and “The Post-Modern Prometheus” and oh my god “Home.”
Yes. Also stories like “Squeeze”/”Tooms” (Eugene Victor Tooms used to give me nightmares), “Pusher” (the one with Robert Patrick Modell) and “Jose Chung’s From Outer Space”.
