Spotted at the pub The World’s End, in Camden.
Heh. But while bar work wages here aren’t great, they aren’t sub-starvation level the way they are in some places, and traditionally we don’t tip; I usually only see it in places that are achingly trendy. (“Have one for yourself” is a near analogue – expanded, it’s “I would like to buy you a drink” – but it’s pretty rare.)
As usual, the note on the tip jar seems more honest than the note in the tip jar.
