London photos: doggie at the screening

At my screening of the kids’ movie Oddball and the Penguins a couple of weeks ago, we were treated to a special guest: a Maremma sheepdog like the ones featured in the film.

This wasn’t the dog in the film, just one of the same breed. It was super sweet and friendly, and very soft and fluffy, and enjoyed all the attention it was getting.

The dog stayed to watch the movie with us, and was mostly better behaved than many adult human beings in a cinema. About halfway through the movie, though, it got a little bored and started wandering in the aisle, asking to be petted. I was happy to oblige.
