“Why, as a middle-aged white man, I have absolutely no reason to suppose that anyone will object to this in the slightest. Now, how do I change channel on this ‘Internet’ thing again?”
Not cool. On the bright side, in the same article, it appears that Old Navy markets boys’ shirts that say “Future Leader,” and girls’ shirts that say “Born Leader.”
They should just stop gendering toddlers’ shirts altogether. Just make ’em in a wide range of colors, have ’em all in the same section, and let parents get “Ghostbuster” shirts for their girls and “Ghostbuster in Training” shirts for their boys if they so choose.
