It’s been about a year since I started my micropatron program, one of the initial goals of which was this: If I signed up 1000 micropatrons within that first micropatron drive, I promised to post something new everyday here at FlickFilosopher.com. Of course, I didn’t even reach 10 percent of that goal during that first drive (the total number of micropatrons now is a little over 10 percent of that goal, still sadly very far off from what I had hoped). But now, with the site’s new bloggish format, it’s much easier to post every day, and I have, in fact, I have indeed been posting something new almost every day in the month since the format changeover.

The schedule right now is -- apart from the usual slew of DVD and theatrical reviews, as well as goodie giveaways -- commentary on weekend box office and the movies-on-TV viewing suggestions every Monday, a look at new DVD releases every Tuesday, and the expose on cinemastrology every Wednesday. I’ve got a couple of things up my sleeve for regular features for Thursdays and Fridays, and I hope to implement them this week or next. I also hope to get around to at least one review-by-micropatron-request every week -- I haven’t been able to get to those anywhere near as often as I’d hoped, but *fingers crossed* that will improve.

I’ve been a little hesitant to do the typical blogging thing: linking to news stories and commenting on them. But maybe you guys would be interested in that? What would you like to see me do here that I’m not doing? What do you expect from a film-review/movie-blog site that you’re not getting? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the kinds of things that would make you visit FlickFilosopher.com more often than you do now. So please let me know what I can do to make your surfing experience here more enjoyable and interesting and informative.
