fooling around with CSS

UPDATE: If anyone can tell me why the hell that ad at the top of the page won't center, I'd love to hear it, cuz I'm pulling my hair out here...

I'm fooling around with the site's style sheets, trying to tighten up some stuff and resolve an issue some IE users are having with the right edge of the lefthand column disappearing. Lemme know if things start looking real funky on your end, particularly if you're using Internet Explorer.
