win a copy of the soundtrack from ‘The Da Vinci Code’ on CD

WIN: one of three copies of The Da Vinci Code soundtrack on CD

HOW: write a funny caption for an image from the film

THE RULES: If you have not won a prize in one of my caption contests or gimme giveaways in 2006*, and you have a United States mailing address, you're eligible to win. If one or both of those rules exclude you but you're moved by the muse of comedy, feel free to send me a caption anyway -- you might get an honorable mention... but let me know you're entering only for fun. (*Micropatrons who've snagged some exclusive micropatron goodies are eligible to win one of these prizes.)

Oh, two more simple rules: 1) Be clever, be original, make me giggle. 2) One entry per person.

The long-awaited movie adaptation of Dan Brown’s bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code hits theaters today, and to celebrate, I've got three copies of the CD soundtrack to give away, courtesy of Decca Records. Here's the scoop on the movie’s music from Decca:

The soundtrack for one of this season’s most anticipated films, Columbia Pictures and Imagine Entertainment’s The Da Vinci Code, features original music composed by Oscar®-winner Hans Zimmer (Rain Man, The Lion King, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator). Zimmer recorded the soundtrack at Air Studios which Da Vinci Code fans will be delighted to know is situated on “Rosslyn” Hill in London, and also at Abbey Road Studios. Director Ron Howard commented that the music recorded at the sessions was “powerful, fresh and wonderfully effective... Like every other facet of this movie, the score for The Da Vinci Code demanded a range of textures that recognized and reinforced the layers of ideas and emotion, which unfold as the basic story does.” Zimmer once again captures the essence of suspense and tension that builds throughout the film. “The inspired Hans Zimmer has given us extraordinarily memorable music to appreciate within the framework of a film or completely on its own, where you can let the sounds carry you on your own private journey,” summarized Ron Howard.

If you don’t want to wait to win, buy the CD from Amazon here.

My review of the film is here.

To enter to win a CD, send a funny caption for this still from the film:

please use this link to enter by sending ONE caption and your U.S. mailing address

YOU MUST INCLUDE YOUR U.S. MAILING ADDRESS. Entries without an address will be disqualified. Multiple entries will ALL be disqualified.

The three funniest captions among all eligible entries received will win.

Deadline: 11:59pm Eastern time, Sunday, June 4
