WIN: the 4-DVD set The Tomorrow People Set 3

HOW: write a funny caption for an image from the show

THE RULES: If you have not won a prize in one of my caption contests or gimme giveaways in 2006*, and you have a United States mailing address, you're eligible to win. If one or both of those rules exclude you but you're moved by the muse of comedy, feel free to send me a caption anyway -- you might get an honorable mention... but let me know you're entering only for fun. (*Micropatrons who've snagged some exclusive micropatron goodies are eligible to win one of these prizes.)

Oh, two more simple rules: 1) Be clever, be original, make me giggle. 2) One entry per person.

To celebrate the release, on May 30, of the classic British sci-fi television series The Tomorrow People: Set 3, I've got a copy of the set to give away, courtesy of A&E Home Video. Here's the scoop on the set from A&E:

From ever-imaginative director Roger Price, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE is a campy, kitschy science fiction masterpiece designed for fans who welcome an escape from reality. Seasons 6, 7 and 8 find THE TOMORROW PEOPLE battling Nazi soldiers that never grew old, encountering a boy who has the unsettling power to create ghosts and fighting an epic battle that involves a U.S. space shuttle, an ominous threat by the Thargons to destroy the Earth, and even a contentious stand-off with the President. In addition to the cleverly written and action-packed final three seasons of the beloved cult classic, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE: SET THREE also includes a never-before-seen 1997 documentary on the series entitled “Beyond Tomorrow.”

If you don’t want to wait to win, buy the set at Amazon.

To enter to win the DVDs, send a funny caption for this still from the show:

Anthony's winning caption: "I told him that wall paper would bubble up on him... but no he wouldn't listen."

Honorable mentions:

from Myles: "Striking what he hoped looked like a contemplative pose, Brad stared at Shelly's latest 'creation' and cursed himself for agreeing to attend another stupid, poopy art show."

from Pamela: "Well it looks like our roommate Charlie Bucket has redecorated the house while we were gone."

from Joseph: "I'm not going to pay a lot for this muffler."

from David: "so this is the heart of the internet"

Since I can't win, I submit: "As though saying ´jaunt´ every time we jumped wasn't gay enough, I present to you a striking pose at my cyber-fag-lo-tron."

By the way: May the Fourth be With You.
