10 years of Flick Filosopher: so many ways to be a dork

Fannishness knows no bounds, and even the coolest shit in the world -- like being a rock star -- can be transformed into dorkiness by the right person. From my review of Rock Star:

Under all the mascara and nipple rings and long hair, Rock Star is a genuinely sweet film about the unadulterated dorkiness of being a devoted fan -- Chris is almost like those gentle, unassuming aliens in Galaxy Quest who modeled their entire culture after a cheesy human TV show.
