10 years of Flick Filosopher: burning down the economySometimes, ya just gotta rant. From my review of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room: Gibney leaves us with a sense that the whole thing is like organized crime. No, wait: these Enron guys were even worse than the mafia. The mob at least provides a service for what you pay them, even if that service is protecting you from getting beaten up by the mob. These guys? They extorted millions and still fucked us up something awful. Rome was burning, and these guys not only lit the match, they threw fuel on the fire and sat around roasting marshmallows and laughing while the city burned. • review of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, posted 05.11.05 (Technorati tags: Enron The Smartest Guys in the Room) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
