my week at the movies: absolutely nuthin’
It's a holiday week, which means press screenings are in short supply. Which is fine with me -- the pile of DVDs I keep meaning to get to ain't gonna watch itself.
I might go see Hitman over the weekend: that one won't screen for critics, and I like Tim Olyphant, and I think I need to try to figure out what the hell he's doing in this.

There's a few press screenings out here in the San Francisco/San Jose area of California. I don't know anything about the video game and I figure it's just another dumb action movie, but when I saw the trailer and Olyphant in it, I thought 'hmm...maybe'.
by they by, I found your site through a film critic site and/or rottentomatoes :)

Two choices: 1) He was offered a truckload of money; or 2) He wants to indulge in the male need to blow stuff up. ;)

Well, his previous movie role was as the bad guy in Live Free or Die Hard, so I guess he just wanted to play a good guy (even an anti-hero) this time.
I plan to see The Mist tomorrow; might squeeze in Hitman on Friday, since I will be avoiding malls like the plague.
