‘Diving Bell’ ad talks to Oscar voters

I just saw an ad on CNN for film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly -- which I finally saw and was utterly blown away by: it shot right into my top 10 for the year, and I’ll review it soon.

But the ad struck me because it includes this notation at the end:

Eligible for all categories including Best Picture (not eligible for Best Foreign Language Film)

I’ve never seen a TV ad for a movie so explicitly directed at members of the Academy before. Weird.
