This is actually from an Australian talk show ("The Money or the Gun") in the early 1990s; the running gag was that they had a new musical act each week, but they always played Stairway to Heaven; this was one of three Beatles-esque variations.

I used to have that CD myself. The interpretation of the song by Rolf Harris (an Australian who's been a celebrity in the UK since the 1960s) did really well in the British charts as a novelty single. I think it might have got to number one, actually.
