Ever since the academy gave Crash the 2005 best picture award over Brokeback, i'v been significantly less enthused about the show.
Especially this year which it's guranteed to be a Golden-Globe type snooze fest even with Jon Stewart hosting again.

And the best part is that unless they can get the writers back, Stewart will have to ad-lib the show :)
But yeah, the Oscars are often as interesting and important in their omissions as they are in their awards. Part sociology, part who-bent-over-for-who for the past year.
