email a friend not working, it seems...

I've just discovered that the "send to a friend" feature at the bottom of each post isn't working, and probably hasn't been for a while. I wish someone had let me know about that -- I could have been looking into it ages ago.

I've been having a lot of trouble, actually, with my Web host for a while now -- behind-the-scenes stuff that I hope you haven't noticed too much. The host is in the process of moving everyone over to new servers, so hopefully when that process is finished -- I'll be moving this site myself, rather than letting the host do it and screw it up, but I haven't done it yet -- everything will be better. Plus, I probably should upgrade to the newest version of Movable Type once the server move is done, because some of the problems I'm running into are a result of the site getting so big, and apparently the new MT can cope better with large sites.

Anyway, this is all by way of a general apology for whatever problems we may run into here over the next month or so, and a request to please let me know if something here isn't working the way you think it should be. I'm really not much of a Web geek -- I kinda learned the language phoenetically and fake it as I go along -- and everything is probably jury-rigged and MacGyvered in a ridiculously inelegant way. I'm surprised it works at all, sometimes. Knock on wood...
