site tweaking

Speaking of doing 18 different jobs here...

I was up literally all night doing some tweaking to the backend of the site, fiddling around with PHP includes and other stuff that I hoped would help solve a hugely frustrating problem I'm having with Movable Type rebuilds hanging midjob. (That won't mean anything to anyone who does use MT, but if you do, you've probably had this problem.) It didn't work -- rebuilds are still hanging -- but the upshot of my tweaking is that pages seem to be loading waaaay faster than they were. So that alone was worth the work.

Anyway, all my tweaking should be invisible to you except for the faster loading, but if you come across anything weird looking round these parts, please let me know: it probably means I did something wrong, and will have to figure out how to fix it.
