I am a ho and a bitch

It’s true. Jerry at hey! let’s not blog about concerts says I am a “ho” and a “bitch.” Because I suggested that a concert film called The Big Black Comedy Show would make “ghosts of Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman... [weep].” Not so much the concert itself, though it might, but the fact its DVD release was being promoted as a Black History Month event a couple years back. But what do I, a “middle-aged white woman,” know about anything?

Jerry explains:

I don’t expect middle aged white women to enjoy jokes about beating your children and hiring Mexicans in front of Home Depot, but what do those who fought against slavery have anything to do with comedy in 2000s? Just because it’s done by those with the same skin color? How about this line: “Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman fought so hard to overcome slavery, and now look…they’re all in jail” She actually did say that line though. In her head.

Of course I said that line in my head. What else would a middle-aged white woman say?

Jerry himself is of course an openminded and tolerant person:

Ok lady, keep on laughing at lame jokes about coffee, or carpool lanes or being late for work because of your maid at your Park Ave. residence, but as for me, I’m sticking with the beating women and getting raped in jail material. It’s the stuff of geniuses. and PhD students.

Oh, oh, Jerry. You’re making me laugh so much I almost cracked a smile even though my lips have been Botoxed into paralysis. You sure do understand white women!

And now we know who thinks jokes about beating your children are funny.

What about exploding penguin jokes? Can you both agree on that?

Oh, intercourse the penguin! (Hello. It's just gone 8 o'clock and time for the penguin on top of your television set to explode.)

Personally, I object to all this sex on the television. I mean, I keep falling off.

Why even dignify that hateful commentary with a response?

Although he is right about Rushmore.

I'm with JT, although I disagree on the reason. I think it didn't deserve a response because it was just horribly written and idiotic, not because it was hateful.

Also, I liked Rushmore as well, but after reading that dopey post, I feel a little worse about that.

Actually, I should have been clearer. I am a "dumb ho."

I think we should shine a light on all the cockroaches rather than let them scurry around in the shadows. Though that may be an insult to cockroaches, none of which has ever called me a ho of any kind. At least not when I was within earshot.

In my head, I'm thinking Jerry is a moron.

You never know what those cockroaches might be doing behind closed doors . . .
