me at Balticon this weekendI’ve got my final schedule for Balticon, the Baltimore regional science fiction convention I’ll be attending over Memorial Day weekend. (The con still does not have me listed as a confirmed program participant, but I will be there.) I’ll be on a bunch of panels during the weekend: Friday 7pm Friday 10pm Saturday 3pm Sunday 1pm Monday noon Monday 1pm I’ll also likely be a part of the Opening Ceremonies on Friday night at 8pm and the Meet the Pros social immediately after at 9pm. On Saturday night, I’ll host a room party with my friend, artist and author Bonnie-Ann Black. Just look for the flyers around the hotel for “The Bronx Babes’ Traveling Creative Salon.” I’ll have copies of my book, The Totally Geeky Guide to The Princess Bride, available for sale and signing at the party (and at my panels, too). And finally, I will be the mistress of ceremonies for the Short Film Festival on Sunday night (I dunno the exact time yet), during which I will conduct a short interview with filmmaker Kristin Holodak, whose film “Memory Sticks” will appear in the festival. Busy weekend ahead! And a fun one, most likely. Hope to see you there. (Technorati tags: Balticon) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Just to check - are you really not coming to Worldcon?
Have a good time at Balticon. Wish I could be there, but I'm saving money for Worldcon.

I am not coming to WorldCon. Balticon is probably my last con of the year. I'm saving my pennies for my trip to England in September to see David Tennant play Hamlet.
