Could you really expect greatness from a buckaroo sequel, though? It'd have to be really, really good, better than the first, to even compare... a tall order at best.

No, you're right: the best Buckaroo sequel probably is the one in our heads.

True enough. Besides, at least in our heads, Peter Weller, Clancy Brown, et. al. won't age. Probably for the best that it never happen (besides, if I'm not mistaken, it's been a lot of legal wrangling over who owns what that's prevented a lot of the proposed sequel projects).
