trailer break: ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ teaser

The HD version is stunning. I'm very excited for this movie... it really seems like they're going to pull this thing off.

When little Tom said, "Are you the doctor?" I thought for a brief moment that this was actually a fanvid and the Doctor (as in, Who) would be spliced in.

Somebody's got a one track mind, apparently.

And on another note, what a name: Hero Fiennes-Tiffin!

I give WB a lot of credit for this trailer. They took a risk focusing on the memory of young riddle, instead of a million flashes on the trio like we normally see in the teasers.

I still think this book will be the most difficult to pull off. First you have to deal with the memories (though we know already many of them have been cut). We have the potion book subplot, the draco subplot. All of which won't come together until the climax. Can Yates edit this movie together so that it makes sense?

Focusing on that one memory, the first visit with the child Riddle, is brilliant, if only for the following voiceovers as the credits go dark:
"Did you know...?"
"That I had just met the most dangerous dark wizard of all time? (pause) No..."
