trailer break: ‘Eagle Eye’

Take a break from work: watch a movie trailer...

Damn, I hate when that happens! You’re just a regular person having regular fun with your regular friends, and then you’re so special that the FBI and supersecret anarchist terrorists want you.

Actually, I’m guessing poor Shia is stuck in the Matrix.

Eagle Eye opens September 26.

I know you lead a way more interesting life than most of us, MaryAnn, but just how often does that happen to you? ;-)

Frankly, the one movie this trailer most reminded me of was The Game.

Which would normally be a good thing were it not for the fact that I hated The Game...

Speaking of trailers, thought you might like this trailer for the new BBC series "Merlin", their latest show in the Doctor Who/Robin Hood slot. Interestingly it's been bought by NBC for broadcast in the US (which i think will make it the first UK show to be bought by one of the big US networks since the Avengers in the late 60's).

here's the BBC youtube link

and if that doesn't work outside the UK here's another link

I'm guessing a prototype AI wants someone's help to escape its mainframe.

I dig the new design, MaryAnn.

Maybe it's just me, but your new logo looks like it says "Fuck Filosopher" at first glance. Which is awesome.

Eagle Eye looks like it might be surprisingly good. I'll probably put it in my queue.

I've been aware of this possibility for quite some time, and specifically chose a font that minimizes this.
