Let me guess, you haven't seen Somers Town. It's a witty, heartwarming film, but only 70 minutes long, so I'd take a good book if I were you.

Surely you can delight your loyal readers with an in-depth exploration of the post-post-modern experience of re-watching a miniaturized film with earplug sound quality that you've previously experienced in widescreen glory and surrounded by Dolby in an earth-bound cinema? Come on, it's challenge!

And that is why you take a book.

Right, I have not seen *Somers Town.* And I may watch it.
Of course I'll have copious reading material with me.
If I can plug my laptop in somewhere on the plane (some new planes have outlets in the seat arms), I'll watch something on the computer, maybe.
