I can only imagine what the pitch for these ads would have sounded like.
"When people throw something in the trash, we want them to think 'Heroes'!"

After the trash that I saw in the form of a premiere on which I "threw away" two hours of my valuable time on Monday, I think this ad campaign is the best evidence of a self-fulfilling prophecy I've ever seen.

Time travel ruins shows that would otherwise be much better without it. Time Travel is a FINAL SEASON fallback for interesting alterations to the timeline; it's not a FIRST SEASON out-of-the-box tool (that goes for you too, "Star Trek : Enterprise").
Unless the show is centered around the concept of time travel (Quantum Leap, Journeyman, etc.), or built specifically around it (Lost ? ), it should be set aside for alternative, less-abusive storytelling aspects.
