screencap Friday: what the flick? #38
Friday fun! Here’s a screen capture from one of the DVDs in my collection (and it’s definitely from a movie, not a TV show). Guess the movie for fun and, well, fun. No prizes, just bragging rights. But hey: one guess per comment -- no fair hogging all the guesses.

This reminds me a lot of Snatch., but I'm not entirely sure about that.

the exit sign is on japanase, since Maryann is not that much of an asian movie buff this has to be from an american movie set there, that sorta narrows it down
I'm sure it's not lost in translation, so I say black rain

I'm guessing it's NOT Kill Bill.

Ok I'm guessing again, because I really didn't want to say Lost in Translation, that was a brainless guess, my real guess is- Babel?

That's what I thought at first ... "Oldboy"
But then again... Doa766 seemed pretty sure about the *japanese* exit sign.

Looks like it could be a Japanese exit sign. They always are an arrow with a little man running through a door, which seems to be what is shown here.

Just checking in here quick to say: No one has guessed yet.
Japanese exit sign...? Heh.

This is a goofy guess since this looks so modern, but I'm gonna say it anyway. "Big Trouble in Little China"?

It looks like a scene from the movie "Business of Strangers"(?) with Julia Stiles and Stockard Channing .

So, where's it from, MaryAnn?

Sorry, I'm still (very slowly) catching up on comments.
No one guessed: it's *Eastern Promises.*

Well, Doa766...
Japanese, eh?
