the oh-no! DVD of the week: ‘Game Show Moments Gone Bananas’

I’m not sure I’ve ever come across a DVD that I’m less able to imagine anyone actually sitting down and watching:

Hosted by Ben Stein, this series of specials features the most hilarious moments from classic game shows around the world. In addition to timeless clips, host segments include games where members of the GSMGB studio audience get their chance to actually play classic game shows like Family Feud and Beat The Clock.

I mean, Why? And can Ben Stein be stopped by anyone? Anyone?

I can only think of one: Pink Lady and Jeff: The Complete Series.

Yes, someone actually released that.

The fact that this is actually a step up in dignity for Ben Stein is an indicator of the depths he recently plumbed.

Ok, to be honest, if I was channel-surfing and came across this, I would totally watch it. But to actually purposefully buy/rent the DVD and watch it? Not so much.
