‘Pushing Daisies’ not-blogging

I’m missing the season premiere of Pushing Daisies tonight because I’m out of the country. If you want to chat about the episode, feel free to do so here. I’ll catch up and offer my thoughts when I get home.

I thought it was a disappointing premiere, although a lot of that probably had to do with the heavy exposition they had to repeat to introduce the series to new viewers. It felt very anvil-y, and the whimsy seemed really forced. So I wish the narrator goes a bit more lightly about things next time. Though I liked some elements of this episode, like the gigantic beehive consuming half of the honey house, and some of Olive's dialogue.

I missed it, because I'd deleted the series from my DVR a year ago when the first season ended.

But I've got my DVR set now, so I won't miss any more episodes. Guess I'll have to watch the premier online.

I loved Pushing Daisies last night. In HD! It looked great and really nice to see everyone back. If you have never seen if, go check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJr8hYadMjE . Don’t let a good show disappear!

Not enough Kristin Chenoweth! I think it's too early to know what they're going to do with this season. I'll be tuning in every week though.
