watch it: “One year in 40 seconds”

Another New Year’s Eve, another year that seemed to zip by:

Eirik Solheim -- a professional geek in Norway who “lectures on themes like digital media, marketing, future technologies, blogging, imaging, social media and web 2.0” -- took photos of the same spot all throughout the year, and recorded audio to go with it. And then he created this amazing video. (See also his “One year in two minutes”.) He explains how did it -- and why -- at his personal blog.

Happy New Year!
