trailer break: ‘Marley & Me’

Take a break from work: watch a movie trailer...

There’s actual kind of a ton of stuff in this trailer that didn’t end up in the final movie, and, thankfully, it’s stuff like the laxative comment, cuz, you know, a dog movie’s gonna have more than its share of poop jokes to start with, so who’s gonna miss one?

Marley & Me opens wide in the U.S. on December 25, and in the U.K. on March 13, 2009.

Jennifer Aniston still acts in movies nowadays? I thought she just posed for magazine covers...

This movie comes across like it would be a cute date movie and involve the antics of a nutty golden lab.

However...

It's really a movie about self-expression and sacrifice. The movie really is about John Grogan (Owen Wilson) and his relationships. The dog is sort of like is alter-ego companion that ties the elements of the movie together.

Overall good, but sad.
