They sell more DVDs with the label "contains 3 previously unaired episodes!" than without it.
And Rob, I like Pushing Daisies just fine, but a movie? Not so sure about that. Great writing is rare and I love it more than anything, but Daisies belongs on the small screen where it can transcend our expectations while remaining neat and tidy and cleverly written. The big screen will swallow it whole.
I actually think a concluding film that wrapped up the remaining plotlines could be quite wonderful. The world of the show is very lush, and I'd imagine the opposite effect happening. I think Pushing Daisies would swallow the screen whole, not vice versa. In my dreams, I can watch every episode of the show on an IMAX screen.
MaryAnn, it might be worth searching those "other means" as Pushing Daisies was shown in the UK and it wouldn't be the first time we've got episodes of US shows, particularly finales, before you do, ie Farscape, Andromeda, Earth 2!
MaryAnn, I just found this bad news at E!Online. Thought I'd pass it along. The last 3 episodes of Pushing Daisies, as of now, are going to air...in June, the earliest.
Why they can't just burn them off in one night rather than making us wait at least six months for just 3 episodes I do not understand. I'd rather they just put out a DVD set. At least then, we'd have resolution before halfway through the year.

Don't even get me started. Here's hoping Kristin Chenoweth is correct when she says a movie is being discussed...

Oh, no way, I'd be thrilled with a movie! Small screen, big screen, tiny little iPod screen, I'll take "Pushing Daisies" any way I can get it.
I am fearing "Newbs" is right about the last eps being saved for the DVDs.

June would be ridiculous. What would be the point of waiting so long?
I may have to check out those "other means."
