I remember when comedian Dennis Miller once in the mid-90's, took a jab at "M.A.N.T.I.S." in one of his patented rants (this time about television). It went something like this:
"Don't you TV producers have any vision? It was a show about a half-man/half-preying mantis! Couldn't you see the fucking beauty of that?! Aw, well. Manty, we hardly new ye..."
