I smell a Disney movie coming on...

From The Daily Mail (quite a while ago, actually):

Orphaned hedgehogs adopt cleaning brush as their mother

Four tiny orphaned hedgehogs are snuggling up to the bristles of a cleaning brush - because they think it's their mother.

The four inch long creatures are being hand-reared by staff at the New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park in Ashurst, Hants.

Workers say Mary, Mungo, Midge and Slappy get comfort from playing with the centre's cleaning brush and enjoy rubbing against it.

There’s a picture:

And they’ve already got ready-for-animated-musical names: Mary, Mungo, Midge and Slappy.

I bet they get Bruce Willis to do the voice of Slappy.

Considering how awful Bruce was with the raccoon in Over The Hedge, I sure hope not. Or was that the movie itself that was just awful? hmmm

Imagine what a more poignant approach to this material would be like. I think Pixar could make an enduring short out of this.
