trailer break: ‘Earth’

Take a break from work: watch a movie trailer...

Ah god, I’m gonna be a basket case. Elephant families? Polar bears swimming for their lives? Oh man...

Earth opens in the U.S. on April 22; it played in U.K. cinemas in 2007 (perhaps in a slightly different version?).

This is the motion picture version of the original BBC tv series called Planet Earth, which was 11 episodes of 60 minutes.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0795176/

Is it just a pared-down version of the Planet Earth documentary? All of those scenes were from that series, and even the title was the same(though lacking the "planet" part). Maybe they just cut it down to the bears, whales and elephants to make something that you could go through in one sitting?

I saw it just last year in a theatre in the UK... from what I can tell from the trailer.. the only difference is the narrator.. It was very very good.
