trailer break: ‘Tyson’Take a break from work: watch a trailer... Mike Tyson so repulses me that I don’t know if I want to sit through a movie about him, particularly one that appears, from this trailer, to be geared toward letting him justify himself. Just the fact that the film exists feels like a bit of a vindication for him: just be as obnoxious and outrageous as you can be, even if it earns you public scorn and disdain, because later you’ll have the chance to rehabilitate yourself publicly, too. I probably will see the film, of course, because now I’m curious to see if I’m wrong about it. Maybe director James Toback is slyer about it all than the trailer makes it appear. Tyson opens in the U.K. on March 27, and in the U.S. on April 24. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

Tyson is the worst kind of coward. A woman abuser. The last thing needed is a movie about him.
