Did you know that Salvador Dali was a vampire?
Oh, but I kid poor Robert Pattinson, who may eventually live down Twilight, but that’s a long way off. Still, if he can expose some little girls to history and art, that’s not a bad thing.
And -- heh -- expose does seem to be on the agenda here.
Director Paul Morrison also made Solomon and Gaenor, which I quite liked. But that moustache has got to go.
Little Ashes opens in the U.S. and the U.K. on May 8.

How thick are you. Dali had that tash.

In a way this reminds me of Total Eclipse (speaking of Twilight), and the way it was cast with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The film looks interesting, but most of these films focus on how much drinking and drugging they did, and how much time they spent lying around, passed out in the rain or something.
And there always seems to be some hapless woman in it, a misused lover of the main character, who cries: "You used me! You used me for your precious art! Damn you to hell!!"

With Dali it was kinda the reverse; he being a shy nerdy chap until the Older Woman virtually dragged him out of his shell. So that might be a change of pace.

Oh, dude, are you *serious*? Did you think I didn't know anything about Dali?
The worst thing about so many people being stupid is that the first assumption some people make about *everyone* is that they're stupid, too.
