trailer break: ‘Next Day Air’Take a break from work: watch a trailer... Well, here’s Hollywood’s idea of counterprogramming for Star Trek: A bunch of idiots who appear to sincerely believe they could get away with the dumbest ever accidental robbery of bad stuff from bad guys. (Or maybe it’s not accidental?) What a shame for Mos Def. He deserves much, much better than this. And it’s yet another indictment of Hollywood that this is the best it has to offer him. I haven’t heard anything about press screenings of this one, and I’d be surprised if it screened. But I may go see it anyway, just for shits and giggles (and Mos Def). Next Day Air opens in the U.S. on May 8; no U.K. release date has been announced. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |

I have to say I watch just about any film with Mos Def and cry for the state of the industry that someone with his genius and comedic timing is wasted on crap films.
Occasionally I am surprised with a gem (like "Be Kind Rewind") but usually it's just money to support an artist I like.
